Vapor Degreasing After spraying, the work remains in the vapor zone for final pure vapor rinsing and drying. |
|
Immersion-Vapor-Degreasing Gross soils are removed by the boiling activity of the first immersion chamber. Parts are then placed in the second tank, containing cooler solvent. This second tank can be augmented with ultrasonics for removing particulate and insoluble soils. Final rinse in pure solvent distillate and vapor drying complete the cleaning cycle. |
| Open Top Automation Many manufacturers automate their open-top degreasers by adding a work transporter. Automation provides several benefits. While increasing production speed, work transporters guarantee cleaning consistency and conserve solvent. State of the art work transporters can be programmed to automatically pick up and discharge work, eliminating the need of a full time operator. |
